How does the Infrared Touch Screen frame work?

During assembly, the overlay is placed over the LCD or plasma screen. In the corners are two CCD (Charge Coupled Device) detectors. Together with an infrared transmitter, these cameras register the movements of a finger or pen over the screen surface. Thus, the screen becomes an interactive projection screen, the finger or pen acting as a “mouse”.

The touch sensitivity of the screen is very high. Even the lightest touch of finger or pen is registered.
